Unakoti Rock Carvings – Tripura
Unakoti Rock Carvings is an ancient Shaivite site in Tripura, known for its stunning rock sculptures and carvings of Hindu deities, especially Lord Shiva. The site dates back to the 7th to 9th century CE and is believed to have been patronized by the Deva Dynasty. The name “Unakoti” means “one less than a crore,” and legend has it that Lord Shiva turned 99,99,999 gods and goddesses into stone here.

Tripura Sundari Temple – Tripura
Tripura Sundari Temple, also known as Matabari, is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and a revered Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Tripura Sundari. Located in Udaipur, Tripura, about 55 km from Agartala, it is believed that Sati’s right foot fell here, making it a sacred site.
